IsiX DICOM Viewer for macOS / Data collection
Data collection declaration
Effective October 3, 2026
Data Not Collected by the Mac App Store edition of IsiX DICOM Viewer for macOS.
Does this app collect data for the developer?
No. The Mac App Store edition does not transmit DICOM files, patient information, credentials, usage activity or local diagnostics to the developer or to an integrated analytics or advertising provider.
This declaration applies specifically to this macOS edition. It does not describe other apps or distribution editions that use the IsiX name.
Does the app track users?
No. The app does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, advertising SDKs or data brokers. The developer does not sell data processed by this app.
What happens to DICOM and network data?
DICOM files, metadata and derived images are processed in local storage. Processing data on your Mac is different from collecting it for the developer.
PACS connections, enabled automatic rules, URL imports and exports communicate with systems or recipients you choose. These destinations can receive patient data and connection information. Their retention and access rules apply to the copies they receive.
What about support, hosting and Apple services?
Emailing support voluntarily shares your email address and the information you send. The developer uses it to handle the request. Visiting this GitHub Pages website and using Apple's distribution or operating-system services are governed by those services' own practices.
External plugins and the GitHub updater are disabled in the Mac App Store edition. This declaration does not imply that the app's network features are offline or that every transfer is encrypted.
Privacy policy
Read the privacy policy for the Mac App Store edition for storage, network transfers, support, retention and deletion.
Apple's explanation of App Privacy disclosures describes how data collection is classified for App Store privacy labels.
